I have a reservation for Sept 22nd-30th for the free dining promotion for me and my mom, however now I'm thinking about adding another person. I know today is the last day for the free dining promotion, but is it possible to add an additional person later? I won't know for a few days if this person can go with us.

I don't believe you could add them for the promo after today. Even if you did add them today everyone has to be on the same package. (same day of travel, same tickets, etc)

You could add them on as an extra adult. Usually between ?$10-$20 per night. They would need their own tickets and pay for their own dining.(or you could share some of your dining credits..i think..)

ohhh another idea.....
If the extra person is doing the exact same package as you.(dates & tickets) .why not just call today and add them to your reservation... the deposit is still $200 per reservation and your final payment probably isn't due until August sometime.

If they decide no, then you should be able to remove them without penalty up until 45 days before travel.

Since this info. is not confirmed you may want to double check with a reservationist. :teeth:

Certainly double check with a person in reservations, but...

I just spoke with a person yesterday about something similar. My parents might actually go with us in Sept (we have only one room booked for myself, DH and 2 DDs). I asked if we could add a room to our ressie, and if we did, would they also get free dining with us. The woman I spoke with was wonderful and said that if we didn't mind adding the room with ours (basically meaning that we would be liable for the $$, since the whole thing would be in my name), then yes, we could do this, and they would get the free dining as well. Of course, we have to get them the same tickets that we are getting as well (that's the rule).

Thought I would share...hope you can do the same, if you need to!

Thank you cuppycake! I was just coming here to ask this exact question. I'm not sure if I like the answer or not. Dh and I have a lot to talk about.

CuppyCake ...I think the person you spoke with was misinformed OR the 3 I spoke with were.

I am going in sept w/ the free dining plan and booked the room for myself, my sister, and her two daughters, I booked on the 25th (the last day of the promotion) the next day My mom said that her and her boyfriend would like to join us as well I called Disney reservations 3 difffent times and was told by all three reservation agents that I could not add them to the dining plan with us.. sieng as how they would need a seperate room because the max allowed in our room is 4 people and since they lived in a diffrent address I could not just book a room for them under my reservations??

I dont really know, hopefully they did book it for you but they did not with me so...oh well

OP here! I didn't want to take a chance so went ahead and added my extra person June 25th (last day) planning on taking him off if necessary. The CM said it would have been no problem to add him later as long as he was in the same room. She did say there was no way I could do it if he was in a seperate room though.

You all are right...the CM I spoke with WAS misinformed. There is no way (I spoke with 2 people tonight) for them to add a new room w/ the free dining plan to an existing ressie.

Thankfully, I was able to add my mom into our room (because one of my DD's is an infant), on the reservation, so we can get her the free dining. I need to book an extra room still because we have 4 adults and 1DD that is over 3 (total of 5 people that "count" and only 4 are allowed per room at POP). We won't get free dining for my step father in the extra room, but hey....we figure we still have a great deal!

Sorry for the misinformation...was just passing along what was told to me :guilty:
