I'm not sure if this applies to everyone or whether it's a targeted deal, but when I went to order something on Amazon today, I saw this and took advantage.

Dang - I want that offer. I just did some major Christmas shopping on Amazon ($500!) and could easily add another 100.00 to it to finish it off. Then I'd get 10.00 for a kindle book or two for me. Hee, Hee.

Yes, I am. I didn't get an email or anything; the offer was just on the amazon page when I logged in.

I am a prime member but never get the offer. My dh and my teens have separate accounts under my prime and they all get this offer ever so often. It's weird how they get targeted so much for it and my dh orders all the time cause he uses his personal account for work.

As ibob52's link shows, it is just for Prime members. It also said on my page that it is only for first-time reload using a credit or debit card. If you have reloaded your account this way before, I guess it wouldn't apply to you.

From the site - In order to qualify, you must (1) be an Amazon Prime member; (2) this must be the first time reloading your Amazon com Gift Card Balance and the reload amount must be at least $100; and (3) you must use the Amazon Prime account to which you are currently logged in.

That's funny. I've reloaded my card many times. Every time I get an Amazon gift card, I add it online to my account. Maybe certain people are targeted even if they don't meet the above criteria.

Amazon runs these promotions fairly frequently, $10 for $100 is better than the $5 for $100 that they've run in the past. They are targeted promotions with not much rhyme nor reason easily apparent, and even if you've done them before months later you may find yourself able to do another despite the fine print. Imho the qualifications tend to be "more like guidelines anyway". Click the link, if you're targeted sweet if not Amazon will tell you.

Poo, i'm not eligible either. I had added a couple of small value pre-paid cards to my GC balance to get rid of them earlier this year and that probably did it. foiled by $4.17.
