Any thoughts on last night's performance??

I have to say I was a little disappointed and more than a little surprised. I think it was a tad too much for TV, and his singing was not up to par. The audience seemed oddly quiet at the end. I loved him on American Idol and was looking forward to his new CD, but I didn't like that song at all.

I have to say I was a little disappointed and more than a little surprised. I think it was a tad too much for TV, and his singing was not up to par. The audience seemed oddly quiet at the end. I loved him on American Idol and was looking forward to his new CD, but I didn't like that song at all.

It was too over the top for the American Music Awards which usually aim for a family audience. I am glad that I didn't have children watching it.
