I vote for the pomanders (but you knew that!!)

Cozy is EXACTLY the word adam and I came up with to describe the place. Its not a big ball room but its not a drab plain room with nasty curtains either lol it is cozy and has character!

And yes i knew you'd vote for the pomanders!

I have to disagree with Mandy (sorry Mandy) I like the bouquet. It's simple and clean...All eyes should be on YOU! Your floral. Your dress. Your details. When I look at the pic of Lindsey's floral-which I didn't realize until I was looking at it critically and answering the question "Which one do you like?"...I don't look at hers first I look at the others...JMHO. All eyes on you!

I do like the bouquet too... i agree its simple and clean and i think with the daisies is just as fun as the pomander. hmmmm.... and do i want to be the center of attention... Yes i do!!!

I like the bouquet as well, just because it's classic and it's a little more comfortable to carry down the aisle than the pomanders. I do love the look of the pomanders because they're so fun and different, but I tried to use them and my girls felt funny trying to carry them without having them bounce or swing around, so ultimately they were voted out.

I didn't think of that... I dont want them to be all over the place. hmmm.... yet another valid point!

The room looks lovely.

I was going to say if you want balls you have balls, but the other girls do raise valid points.

The home reception area looks really nice. I think everyone will have a great time. I love that bar area too!

Yay for DF picking his tux. I really like the navy blue.

As for the flowers, I think I like the pomanders better. I would pick what you love. They may not like it as much, but they only have to hold them during the ceremony and for pictures. Plus I feel like they would be cuter decorations for the cake table or something like that.

You think the same way i do!!!! I was thinking about using them at the DP as decoration. We're having dinner and dessert at our DP at SCP and it was my understanding that since we're doing dinner and dessert we'd get one long roman table... so i was thinking about renting 2 tall vases and having them on top as centerpieces like these

Awe thanks Becky!!! I LOOOOVE the pinwheels! i showed my sisters those and i think they would have refused to be in the wedding if i had them carrying those but i did throw the idea around! They're so fun! Your wedding is going to be beautiful and MEMORABLE! thats the one thing i'm trying to do for our wedding is to make it fun and memorable... i dont want to be just another plain old wedding... i want to to be unique like us!

I've decided that i may wait to make the final decision about what my bridesmaids will be holding. Either way i'd be happy and either way i'll be able to use them as part of the decoration at SCP for the DP. I'll have to talk to me planner (once i get one) and see what she has to say. Another thing that could sway me would be $$$

Oh you're a girl after my own heart! I love being unique! i even at one point wanted my bridemaids to carry big carnival lolli-pops instead of flowers... ya know to kind of match the boardwalk theme but yea that one wouldn't fly at all either I think i'm going to get some fake flowers and make a little pomander and bring it with me when the girls try on some bridesmaid dresses.

Oh and i keep forgetting to show you girls this.. i've been doing more research on gerbera daisy wedding bouquets. I want my bouquet to be fun but still bride-esque. My original bouquet idea was this....

I really like this but i didn't know how it would look with all fuschia and white as opposed to the different shades of pink and white in the picture. I also felt like it was lacking something. But i still liked it ALOT.... until.... I saw this the other day

I absolutly LOVE everything about this bouquet (except those wierd green things that look like artichokes... but we can remove those right?) I think it looks more put together and alittle more formal to go with my dress. What do you think? should i stick with the original or should i go with the new one?


The original always made me smile... for some reason it makes me think "happy" lol

The new one i LOOOVE but i dont know what getting rid of the artichoke things would do to the bouquet... is there something i could substitute it with??

I dont know much about flowers so and help or advice would be great!

I think once you take the green things out it will look the same as the first one. Personally, I don't like the ribbon floofy stuff coming off the bottom of the second...but that is JMHO...

oh you girls are going to killllllll me!!! for those of you who aren'y my friends on facebook you didn't see that i found (and fell in love with) another bouquet.... It took me a while to come back on because i was chicken and didn't want to tell you hahahahaha!!! thanks for pointing that out mandy!

Anyway i think most've you have seen it but i'll post it again when i get home from work.

Oh and BIIIIIG update! I called disney and i changed around our cruise. DF had mentioned his friend who is going on a cruise to the eastern caribbean (st. thomas, st.maarten ect) They asked if we wanted to go but where we are saving for the wedding and won't have enough time off of work we had to decline. DF was sad about it so to make up for it i decided to call disney and find out what it would take to change our ressie from a 4 night cruise to nassau and CC ro a 7 night eastern caribbean. It was incredibly easy! So now DF's wedding gift is a week long cruise in the caribbean! I am super excited!!!! I can't wait to tell him but i have to be strong and keep it from him until the wedding!

Have any of you cruise to either of those islands? I'd love to know what we should do and see while there! Have any of you been on the Magic? It'll be our first cruise... hehe cruise virgins!
