great thread..I'm hooked on your site and keep checking back for updates!! To answer your question, the Danskins Triathalon is happening at Disney the weekend of May 14, so I'm sure that some of the no vacancies at the Disney resorts are influenced by that. Not sure how that will affect the crowds at the parks since the athletes will be doing some training and preparation and not chowing down on turkey legs at MGM!!!

I may be wrong, but I was thinking that was the first of the Star Wars weekends along with the premiere of the final Star Wars movies. My son tried to get me to change our trip to that weekend since he thought the Star Wars thing would be a "historic event"! LOL (It truly may be a big event for all those die hard Star Wars fans.)
