Does anyone know how many activity POINTS I would get for 42 flights of stairs?

There was a fire or something in my office building on the 46th floor and our floor (42) decided we weren't going to wait for the building to tell us to evacuate (we learned this in last year's big blackout) and that the awful smelling smoke coming in our vents was enough for us to leave. So I have walked down 42 flights of high rise stairs.

Do I have to take into account that in two days I won't be able to move so I won't have even basic activity?!!!

First, I'm glad you're safe! How scary!

As for APs, WW would ask how much do you weigh, how long did it take, and the intensity, at least WW online does. So, how long did the stairs take, and at what intensity did you walk (low, moderate, high)?

Without knowing your weight, and the other variables, the closest description I found under 'named' activities was: stairclimber, 36 steps per minute

duration: 30 minutes

POINTS value: 3

There are different values for 30 and 24 steps per minute also. The best way would be to enter your weight, time it took, and the intensity, to get a personalized AP value. PM me if you want.

Thanks. I understand that if you don't use Activity points the day you earn them, you lose them. I was just curious anyway. I can't remember how long it took us....probably 10 minutes. So I guess, if anything, I probably only earned one point. I'm on the verge of going down 2 points a day anyway so if anything the activity just made it okay to still eat the old value.

Thanks for the info! I'm in a lot of pain today so I won't be doing much in the way of stairs (other than the necessary ones in my house!).
