activities for a 3 yr old on 3 day cruise

Hi everyone!
We will be taking our first cruise ever on Feb 26-29 on the Disney Wonder. It will be DH, DS (who just turned three today ), and me. Also we will be with my mom, dad, sister, & sister's bf. They have all been on cruises before, but never with kids. I would like to know from those of you who have taken small children, what kind of things there are to do on the ship for/with them. I know about the kids clubs and we don't plan to use them because we all want to be together. I also don't think my ds would be comfortable with us leaving and he isn't quite potty trained all the way yet.
Are there characters around? I don't even know where to begin asking questions because I'm not sure what is available. Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There is SO much to do!!! Your 3 yo will love it. My kids were 3 & 5 when we cruised & they were always on the go. DD only went to the club 2 times. You can go to the club with DS if there is an activity or character event planned that he may like. There are always characters around the ship on sea days & in the evenings when you are in port. Check out this site to see the navigators for some idea. http://www.castawayclub.com/ Also, you can call the PALS number on the ship to get the breakdown each day of what characters will be where when.

Other than that, there is the character breakfast, the pool, movies...IDK how anyone could be bored on the cruise.

Thanks! I knew there would be plenty to do, but I feel so unprepared because I don't know too much about the cruise. Thanks for the link. I'm sure we will have a great time!
