Active Duty Military Ticket Early Entry

Although I am a WDW veteran, this will be our first time to Universal. I keep reading conflicting information about "early entry privilege" for guests. Some websites I read say that only guests staying on property can "enter early".... but some OTHER websites I read say that active duty military ticket holders can enter early regardless of where they are staying.

Could someone help clear this up for me?

Thank you very much!

This is the first I've ever heard this. What website did you find the information?

We used military tickets last month, but we were onsite, so we had EPA privilege that way.

op, make a call to guest services to find the answer.

they would be up to date on what perks military tickets allow.

if you know in advance, then you can plan on the time to be in the parks

One other note, there aren't special active duty military tickets. Just discounted tickets available at base ticket offices to all eligible members (active duty and retired). I just looked at the photo I have of the back of our tickets, and it says HQ AIR FORCE SERVICE AGENCY. Everything else looks the same as the usual ticket.

Thanks for sharing the website.

I'd be skeptical. We got our tickets from our ITT office on base, and none of the information about them there or the tickets themselves included this detail.

Maybe it was a benefit in the past that is no longer provided?

Unless you could find it in writing from universal, I wouldn't count on it.

yeah... you are probably right, I can't find any information about it. I called again and the universal guy on the phone was NO help yet again... he said ITT would know.... but they didn't. I think it is just a pipe dream! LOL but I wanted to double check just in case!
