Does each AP holder need to be present at the time you activate APs, or can one member of the group do it for everyone? We've only bought activated APs before so no experience with the vouchers. On our next trip, I will likely arrive the night before my mother (both of us will have APs) so my plan was to wake up, head to MK for EE, activate my AP, spend the morning in MK, go back to the resort in the afternoon to rest and meet my mother who is arriving at 4ish, then go to Epcot for dinner. Now I know she can do it herself when she arrives, but since I'll already have wasted time activating my own AP early that morning, will they let me do hers too, or does she have to be present? I mean, clearly I can't be using both, and what sense would that make, so it must be for someone else, and since they can ask to see ID when you use it I can't see why they'd care who activates it, but for some reason it seems like something Disney would require, that each member be present.
