Activating AP at AK?

We are arriving on sunday at akl. Should I go to AK park first to activate my AP or should I go to hotel first with just the voucher? If I go to the park to activate it, where do I go? Thanks!

Just before you get to the gate at AK look to your left and you will see guest relations, they can issue you your AP. I have heard you can check in to your resort and get the AP rate with just your voucher,(since you already have purchased the AP) but if you want go into the park before checking in just do it then. Last time i stayed at AKL they didn't even ask me to show my AP.

Just wanted to say that I activated my pass last September at AK and I was able to activate it at the regular walk-up tikcet window! The line for guest realations was really long so you might try the walk up ticket windows.

Thanks guys, I would rather just go straight to AKL with my voucher, but I'm afraid to chance it. Has anyone recently done AKL with just the voucher? Thanks again!

I checked into Coronado Springs with a voucher. Actually, come to think of it, Our party was split - so I dropped off part of my group at the hotel to check in while I drove to the airport. So I wasn't even there when everybody else checked in. Later, i validated my AP at the regular ticket window at AK; since it was the middle of the day already, there was no line. Once inside the park, it was almost time to start distributing bracelets for the evening hours. (I presume AK is you first park because of EMH?) My advice, don't bother waiting in a long line for bracelets. There will be plenty of time to get them with little wait. (After 3, but before the park closes) The AKL evening EMH were the best! What a great way to start a visit!
