Activating an AP/ Ticket Booth Hours?

I'm contemplating getting an AP this year as I think I'll be able to get two trips out of it (Dec '04 and Oct '05).

I know you are sent a voucher that you trade in for your passes.

What are the hours of the ticket booths? I have no idea when I might arrive but if it is after park hours (which will be short in Dec) and have an early PS at the MK the next morning- will the ticket booths be open at 8 even though the park doesn't open until 9?

Or are there other places to activate passes other than parks?

Thanks for the help!

Can't help with part I of your question but in reply to Part II -

I know you can go to Guest Relations (or Guest Services not sure of correct term) at Downtown Disney. There are two - One is located next to the toy store (who's name escapes me) I think and the other is on the other side nearer to Disneyquest. I know this information is kinda sketchey but I called a while ago because I have the same plan for my trip. Just phone the regular number and ask for guest relations at downtown disney. At one of the locations they are opened until 11:30pm I believe and the other closes at 11:00 pm. Sorry I am not more exact with my info but I'm sure if you call you can get help. I know for sure you can't change a voucher for an AP at the resort desk.

I would also like to know what time the ticket booths open (at TTC). We have an early ps the day after we arrive in Orlando and we don't especially want to have to make a special trip to guest services after a long day of travelling just to get our AP's activated. It would be much better to leave a little earlier in the morning for our ps and get them then.

we were there last week and had to activate our passes..i want to say they started opening around 7:30-8 am DH has our reciept but we were there waiting for them to open

Just to confirm an exact time, I called Disney Reservations and they contacted Guest Relations. Guest Relations for MK opens at 7:30 am. Hmmm... might duck into DTD the night we arrive just to play it safe. Don't want to be stressed on our first day at Disney.
