ACK ! They just changed operating hours for June!

I have MK days planned on Tuesday 14th and Thursday 16th. I've got EVERYTHING else scheduled around that. NOW, Disney has updated their operating hours to include an 8:00 opening that Thursday. arriving at 7:15 seems REALLY early (even for this early bird). I have NEVER missed a RD and just showed up later!
HELP! What should I do? Just bite the bullet and show up early? :-( I am super bummed about this.
ugh, just realized ALL my FP+ are going to be an hour late....

Yes, show up early to be ahead of the crowd. Keep your FPs where they are and take advantage of the extra hour to ride a few rides standby.

Show up early. The earlier the better. I'm sure you already know all about the advantages that RD brings. 8 AM RD is gold. You will get more done during 8-9 than you would 9-10.

Get there early. Keep your FPs. Use the time to go for some popular things you didn't use FPs for.

I've been coming to Disney at least once a year since 2005 and this is never happened to me. I don't understand what's going on, why they just now released changes to their operating hours with in the 30 day reservation window. Somethings up.

They often extend hours in this manner (almost exclusively at MK) at busier times.

Happened to us last year. Messed up an 8:15 ressie at CP.

But, definitely sacrifice the hour of sleep and get there early. As you know, you'll be rewarded,

It happens all the time, especially noticeable in the morning. I always tell people who book those PPO breakfasts to keep an eye out because they may need to decide what they want more, beakfast with Pooh, or touring time.

MK now has an 8AM opening on our resort change day for a split stay. Anyone know if bell service is available for luggage pickup at 7AM at a value resort?

Crud. My PPO ADR at BOG is no longer a PPO. I want to cancel now, but I'm afraid they will change the park open time back to 9. It's for Sunday morning. Any chances they will change it back to 9 this close to Sunday??? Need to cancel it ASAP.

ETA I just canceled the BOG bc I saw early FPs available. They wouldn't change it back since those FPs are there. It's so frustrating. I hope I can still get a nice photo in front of the castle without a huge crowd. Was really looking forward to the idea of an empty park for a picture.

Well, our PPO BBB appointment is no longer PPO. But on the bright side, We'll make it there early enough to catch the opening show I suppose.
It looks like my other MK day BOG breakfast is also no longer PPO, lol. We'll probably just drop it and plan for a late start.

I thought that I was in the clear last week! At this point in my planning it is like Disney 10 versus me 0. Oh well, we'll still have fun.

And that is another reason I highly recommend making breakfast ADRs for 10 am or later. You won't be messed up by the schedule change should Disney decide to add hours.
