Cast and crew:
Ace(me): 28. United States Air Force. Disney lover as long as I can remember.
DW: Nancy,28. Became Disney lover when we got engaged at Disneyland.
DS: Nick, 5. Had first Disney experience at 3 months old and hasn't looked back.
My mom: JoAnn. I owe my love of Disney to her since she always took us to Disneyland.
My sis: Vicki, 25. Looking for relaxation above all
My brother: Rob, 21. Can finally have a drink at PI
Brother's G/F: Ali. Is she ready for a week with us all?
Mickey called early as this was a day we needed to be up and out to get over to the GF for DS and Adventures in Cooking. DW, DS, mom and I headed on bus to MK and then on monorail to GF. Got there a little early and grabbed some breakfast from Gasparilla's while we waited. Checked in to the class and the 3 of us headed over to MK for some coffee and wandering on Main St. We stumbled across all the little picture spots in the back of the picture studios and snapped silly pictures at each. Headed back to GF where sis met up with us to greet the chefs. They paraded in on time and presented us with "Chocolate Chip mini muffins with Mickey sprinkles". Anybody who happened by was presented with a muffin. There was 7 kids and they were so proud in their decorated hats and aprons, it was priceless. After we gobbled down a couple muffins each, DS posed with his teachers and we started off. DS then realized that his uncle and Ali missed out on the muffins, so he ran back and managed to bring some with for them, as they were on their way to meet up with us. Met up with them on monorail and off to MK.
It seemed that everywhere we went, there was a lot of people, but the waits for attractions were short. DS had to do TTA, so we grabbed FP's for Buzz and did TTA. Grabbed some lunch at Cosmic Ray's and headed for Buzz. I managed to defend my championship yet again and won the ice cream. Headed over to HM where posted wait was 30 minutes, but it took maybe 10. I ran over with everyone's passes to get FP for BTMRR. Meanwhile went to POC, which still pales to DL version. Took first ride on Aladdin which was cute. DS was proud as he was in control and put us right in the path of the camel spit, which felt great in the heat. DS with all his infinite energy decides he must do the treehouse and my brother and I take him up and we melt more and more with each step closer to the sun. Finally time for BTMRR. DS again nervous, but absolutely flips out on how fun the ride is. We find out later how much he really loves this ride. Starting to cloud up and we want to swim so we head out. Stop at the food court for some dinner, and we are oblivious to the T-storm outside. Make a dash for the room as it is not seeming to let up. It finally stops, but by then we are pretty much comatose, so no swimming tonight.
