I have been reading that you need to show A DVC members card to get into the TOTW lounge. I have 2 cards but both have my name on them.If DH and I want to split up, then meet up later in the lounge (we would each probably have a kid with us) will we be able to do that? So in other words, I have 4 people on the reservation but only 2 DVC member cards, both with just my name on them :confused3

Is your husband an associate member? Meaning all he can do is make a reservation? If he is a full member, he should have a card in his name. If he is an associate, he has no rights at all. ;)

It just depends on how picky the CM is letting people up to the lounge.

Thanks. I've been thinking more about this and it doesn't make sense that they would require each person to have one. How would kids/teens get in?

They may ask each group to provide a member ID.

if someone wants to go up w/o you - then they will need your DVC member card.

otherwise they are part of your party and will be allowed to go w/you

I've only been asked for my membership card when my room key doesn't say "DVC member." Lately, the lead person on the reservation will have that notation missing from their KTTW card. Last few visits, my kid's cards say "DVC Member," but mine does not. So I always bring my member card with now - comes in handy for dining discounts too.

Thank you. I will ask CM to have DVC member on all room cards just in case.

The missing lead persons "DVC Member" designation is a software issue that doesn't have a work around. Another lead person problem is that sometimes their KTTW card won't print. The reservation has to be canceled and re-booked. Not really a issue if MS is available but a real hassle if they are closed.

I'm the only one that had a Memebers card, when DCuz and I stayed there in January. I wasn't even asked for it, but did show it, and the gatekeeper only looked at it and my room key.

When my son and his new bride spend their honeymoon at BLT on my points, will they need my blue card if they want to go up to the lounge?

I would give it to them just in case.
