Accept no substitutes!

Blue Plate or Hellman's mayo--none of that low fat stuff!
Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Beauty Blender
Clinique Foundation

and before I gave up carbs, Martha White flour

Peter Pan peanut butter
Cherry Pepsi

And for my son Campbells chicken soup.
I actually couldn't think of a single thing, off the top of my head, that I don't try various versions of, but yes, I agree. Store-brand chicken noodle soup just won't do. For canned soup I actually only ever buy Campbell's. Might just be more of a habit than anything.

Skippy Reduced Fat PB (love the flavor, not the reduced fat lol)
Kraft Olive Oil Mayo
Diet Coke
Viva paper towels
Heinz Ketchup
French's Mustard
Green Giant canned veggies, but Le Sueur Peas
Tide
Downy
Kleenex
Quilted Northern

Just curious...are there any products that you use that you are set on your brand and can absolutely not abide by any other, whether it be a grocery, beauty, clothing, or other type of item? I know in our house, it has to be Heinz Ketchup. We also go out of our way to bring Goodhost Iced Tea back from Canada. We have tried other brands and they don't compare. We would rather just go without...and actually have, rather than drink any other option. I know that people in some geographic areas can be very passionate about the brand of mayonnaise they use, and for others, it is the ice cream they purchase. Let's face it. Some things just don't taste the same when they are made with the "wrong" ingredient.

Likewise, people seem to have preferences for the brands of any number of items from pens to diapers to socks. There may be plenty of other brands out there, but you know the one that works for you or tastes best and you would rather pay more or choose nothing, rather than buy an off brand. (Or sometimes it is the "off" brand that you find to be the best option.)

Feel free to share the items for which you will accept no substitutes. I look forward to learning about what products I might be overlooking.

All laundry soap
Clorax bleach
Yardley bath soap
Mahatma rice (white and brown)
Dawn dish soap (blue)
Duke's Mayo
DorcoUSA razor blades (6 blade)

-Kraft Dinner (I finally do NOT call it Mac & Cheese now! Only ten years of living in Canada!)
-French's Ketchup (when we can find it)
-Purex toilet paper - it must be 2 or 3-ply or yes, the DH returns it to the store!
-Ziploc bags
-Schneider's European Smoked Sausage Pepperettes
-Hellman's Mayo (if you want me to eat it! otherwise I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE mayo)

Dawn detergent
Band Aid bandages

Funny - We always buy Dawn (because of the ducks) but we consciously avoid Band-Aid brand because DS says they stick too well and hurt more coming off!

But he agrees with whoever said Cheez-Its are better than Cheese Nips.

I second Crayola Crayons (mentioned somewhere upthread) and will add to that Ticonderogo pencils!

I've bought only Bounty "Huge Roll" paper towels for some time now - not because I think they work better, but because I hate changing the roll! However...I just saw yesterday that Market Basket has their own huge rolls now, so I bought a pack and will see how I like them!

I buy "Simply Jif" peanut butter, Stonewall Kitchen Country Ketchup, Nellie's Free Range Eggs, and I watch closely for New England Coffee (usually pricey) to go on a periodic 3 for $10 sale (but I'll drink other kinds too).

I tend to buy a lot of the same brands over and over just because I've found ones that have lower sodium (which DH is supposed to limit) rather than because I find the taste to be so much better than the others. - Silver Palate Marinara Sauce, Old Cape Cod Balsamic Dressing, and a few more that aren't popping into my head right now.

Mid's pasta sauce
Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
El Yucateco hot sauce
Kraft Dinner (nod to my Canadian wife)
Kona beer
Pueblo Lindo tortilla chips (found at Aldi's)

Coke, Diet Coke
Oreos
Thomas' English muffins
Skippy peanut butter
Mott's applesauce
Dawn dish soap

Wow, can you grocery shop for me? I agree with all of the above. Although the Trader Joe's Oreos are ok. Mostly because we like the name, Joe Joe's. It's fun to say, try it

I should be kicked off this thread because I can't think of a single thing. In fact, I like store brand peanut better, mayo and catsup. (Running for the door!)

For yellow mustard, I prefer the cheaper brands as they have more bite:) I wonder if the cheap yellow mustard and the fancy stoneground/dijons have class wars in the fridge when it's closed?

I forgot about cosmetics - MAC and Chanel, only.

I think there is a difference in ketchup, I do prefer heinz. I am wondering though if they will change to French's here?

Awesome on the Canadianess! :)

Very obscure, but Salcombe Dairy Ice Cream cannot be beat... perhaps unless we're talking about authentic Italian gelato, which I first sampled in Venice!

As for cheese, you can't beat proper farm shop varieties as opposed to processed rubbish!

Off the top of my head:

French's mustard (my son will not eat any other brand. We've tried putting it in a French's bottle and he could tell the difference!)
Heinz Ketchup
Palmolive Dish Soap
Ortega Taco Sauce
Wish Bone Italian Dressing (I don't like any other Italian dressings except Seven Seas, which they no longer make)
Coca Cola

Funny - We always buy Dawn (because of the ducks) but we consciously avoid Band-Aid brand because DS says they stick too well and hurt more coming off!

I also buy Dawn because of the sea animals!
Lol, yes the Band Aids don't feel great coming off but they're the only ones that stay on for blister protection on my feet for runs and long WDW days.

I would say Band Aid as well, but Curad makes this long bandage that is awesome. I do buy that. It wraps all of the way way around the finger,
