If I say "I have a knot in miy rope" it sounds like "I have a naht (sounds similar to "gnat") in my r-oh-p (sounds similar to "room")"
Now if my cousin from Texas says that it sounds like "I have a nawt in mii r-uh-p"
Everyone says stuff differently so therefore everyone has an accent. Some are just easier to find/see/hear.
i also have developed a few words from upstate NY (Buffalo, NY area) b/c my roommate is from there.
Most notably: CLASS. I used to say it normally, but now the A gets all nasaly!
I have a Southern Accent. When I go to Disney World and we talk to people they always ask if we are from Texas, Kentucky or Tennessee...I'm from Kentucky.
no one can say they don't have an accent! everyone has an accent! i'm from England and come from Dorset! No (if you DO know the Dorset accent), I don't have a dorset accent lol!
I have a Philadelphia accent according to some quiz I took. I guess it's accurate because I'm about 15 minutes away from Philly...but I live in South Jersey.
