I don't find the examples of Jersey accent in writing justify it.
I hear them a lot on tv, and sometimes it's hard to hear unless you're listening right...

The quiz says I have a Boston accent, which is true. I live a little south of Boston, but everyone around here drops there r's and such. Its poka, not poker. Chowda, not chowder. I love my accent, I think its wicked cool.

I hate those accents where they can pronounce Mature & Solid.

Solid = s-ol-id NOT SALAD.

Mature is not pronounced ma-tur.
There is an e at the end of the word, the u makes a different sound.
