Roberto, thank you and your department and government for welcoming the Disney Magic in such a festive and fun way. It's just like when the Love Boat pulled in, no matter how often she docked, there was always some sort of party. August won't come too soon for the return trip. It will be a honour to meet you.

Our pleasure althuogh, we payed (API Port Authority) for the whole festivities, the Mexican Army cooperated with marching band... It was great fun.

Here's Captain Mickey.

It was a great race. Myself and Sarahsmom had positioned ourselves at the forward gangway (A few others went aft, which was probably the deciding factor).

Sarahsmom got off first but made a critical mistake in shoe wear. I managed to pass her about halfway through. The greatest part was Bonzie1 and a few other disboards yelling "Go Jeff Go!" as I disembarked the boat.

Jen decided to wait behind instead of getting involved in the run. I didn't "forget" her (Thats my story and I'm sticking to it).

We went back later to stop by Roberto's office just as he was uploading the pictures. It was a lot of fun. Anyway, I'm off to take over parrot cay.

Congratulations Jeff,

Hey some one broke into my office yesterday and stole a Polo shirt; the one I was gonna give away in August, if you see any guy e-baying or trying to sell it on board let me know.

I exchanghed one with Bettesmom, so she's cool, but I can't imagine some one by passing all of my security and breaking in to my desk...

Hopefully he only took the shirt, I haven't looked yet, but I have very compromising pictures of me and a few girls I don't want to see posted.

I'll start downloading the pics and hopefuly post them today before lunch.

Thanks for all of the updates and great pictures!

Question - based on the pictures that were posted from the Cliff Divers, it looks like the folks who did not go to the restaurant had a better/closer view of the diving. Is this the case? Would we get a better/closer view if we went on our own or do/will DCL passengers get some type of priority seating?

I am on the Aug repo.

Thanks!

UMTerp

Dear UMTerp,

Disney arrnaged tours get a section of the restaurant, although, you can go on your own and still get a good view The trick os to get here early, for La Perla 15 to 20 minutes before the show and on the lower observation platform about 30 to 50 minutes,to get up front. Mind you, there is no shade in the lower observation area and the sun, heat and humidity may get to you..

Hope you have fun
