? about Yachtsman Steakhouse/Narcoossee

Trying to decide where to go for a new meal, thinking of Yachtsman Steakhouse. We will be on dining plan. When I pull up menu off of DIS it is different from Deb's site- does not have surf and turf and seems more limited. To those who have recently dined their:
*is the new updated version on Allears accurate?
*has anyone ordered lobster add on with DP and not paid "upcharge"?

Trying to decide between Yachtsman and Narcoossee's (staying at BC), and frankly find the older menu for Yachtsman Steakhouse more appealing...

Any suggestions are appreciated!! thanks!!

We just ate at Yachtsmans last week. And yes the menu posted on allears is accurate. We had the tomato salad and scallops for appetizers. I had the filet with mashed potatoes, very good. DH had the big porterhouse, and DF had the ribeye, they both said their meals were good.

I can't answer regarding the dining plan, but I do know that you can add a lobster tail to your dinner.

These are my two favorite resteraunts on Disney property!!!
I am a HUGE Yacht club fan and LOVE Yachtsman BUT.. I have to say I prefer Narcosee! Go so you can see the fireworks while you eat!! I had the lobster and it was wonderful!!!!!!!

I am leaning towards Narcoossee's. We will be at BCV, and I thought it would be great to stay at our Resort.... but we will be out and about anyway.. have a 5pm reservation at Bibbiddi-Bobbiddi Boutique.. Love reading your opinions!!

The first time we went to Yachtsman DW said her steak was among the Top 5 best steaks she had ever eaten. We also both enjoyed the dessert sampler Our second experience there was not as memorable. As for Narcosee's it's been so long since we've been there I don't remember much about it at all.

I recommend the Yachtsman. I went there in Dec. and it was very good. I like the wood decor and it felt like a very clubby atmosphere. Is anyone here is from Atlanta, i would say that it is similar to Bone's or Chops.

I would highly recommend Yachtsmen Steakhouse, the atmosphere is great, the food is wonderful and the servers are very pleasant and helpful. We didn't have 1 complaint about this restauraunt except there was so much food to eat, but it was excellent and our favorite place to eat at Disney World.

In my opinion there is a reason the Yachtsmen Steakhouse is 2 dining points per person It is worth every penny, even though we were on the dining plan and didn't spend a penny......I would have though.

EDIT: Correction - We did spend some money as our waitress did so well we tipped her extra

I would not go to Narcoossee's just because the service has been bad. I voted for Yachtsman as I am dying to try it!!!

If you are a fan of steak in a very masculine atmosphere, try the Yachtsman. I had a very good filet the last time i went. I've heard the desserts are out of this world.

I would recommend going to Narcoosses if you want to see Wishes and the EWP. The food there is very good too but i like the Yachtsman atmosphere.
