:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: I'm planning a trip in Oct. for 6-7 nights & am considering splitting my stay between SSR & BCV. I have never split my stay and am not sure about any inconvenience with changing resorts. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We have switched resorts a few times now, and it has never been an inconvience.....

Disney does a great job of transporting luggage from resort to resort... (We even had some perishables that needed to stay refridgerated last trip, and the CMs at AKL and BWV did a great job! :D

On days we switch, we usually pack our swim suits in our day bags... We then spend some time shopping, go out for lunch, get an early check in at our next resort, and then hang out at the pool until the room is ready... At BWV, we will periodically call the front desk from the courtesy phone at the pool to check the status of our room.

Our last trip, we switched resorts twice, and we are doing so again on this trip...

You don't say how long you are going for. That would make a difference to me. Last year we switched resorts after six days at the VWL and it was very simple and fun to do.

I think it depends on your view. I've done it but it is an inconvenience IMO. You must either lose a portion of the day transfering things or trust that all will work OK in the transfer. Remember, you'll have to check in at the new resort. OTOH, I've found it worth it to try out a new resort for a couple of days. Another potential benefit OR negative depending on your goals, is that if you intend to get the UMP, this allows (or forces you) to get it for only part of your stay.
