How long after closing does it take to get into the DVC system?
I just checked on the site PamOKW provided and saw our deed. Everything was dated May6 - a day before our closing date. I called MS but we are not in the system yet.

If you closed on Friday, May 7th (meaning all docs/payments were received by closing agent, funds distributed to seller, and deed sent for recording), then you really should be in the DVC system by today.

Call Member Services again on Monday and have them look you up in the system again. If you are not there on Monday, I'd call the closing agent and have them resend the documentation to Disney.

We were told 7-10 days after closing. I called member services and was told that resales get put in on wednesdays, I called Thursday and found out we were in the system. Call every day, they are very nice. I was worried because our trip is only 3 months away and I was able to book the entire stay at the Beach Club. Good luck and welcome home.

We were told 5 days once the papers were filed and I think that was about right for us (was last month). We just received our copy of the deed in the mail yesterday.

Our CM had to put me on hold for a while to find us in the system...not sure what the problem was, but maybe she got ahold of somebody who got it right...I gave her our contract number and she was able to do some kind of 'magic' and get us in the system.

we closed on a Thursday and the sent everything to DIsney on Friday. We were in Disney's system on Friday. I forgot to call eariler in the week but when I did call Friday morning they had all my information there.

I would call again Monday morning and I bet you will be there.

I will definitely call again on monday. I am so impatient! Hopefully we will be in the system this week. We leave on friday for our Alaska Cruise and I do not want to worry about this on our trip.
Our deed has already been recorded, I printed a copy off the Orange County site. So I know it is just a matter of time before we are officially in the DVC system.

it does not get on the main system quickly but with a little prompting it can be found sometimes thru member accounting.
