We are going Nov. 24, and I've been excitedly planning our days - - but when I mentioned to DH that we would have access to wetsuits, he was a bit skeeved at the idea of wearing a wetsuit that others have worn  (and I hadn't really thought about it except that we'd have an option if it's cold) -- and I said 'they must disinfect them' - -but maybe they don't b/c the extra chemicals could hurt the dolphins...

So just curious, is there any reason to be skeeved by the wetsuits? :scared:

Thanks!

No there is no reason to be "skeeved" as you say! The do disinfect them! THey even smelled clean! No worries! But just thought I would mention, when you are in the water you have to be eithier wearing a wetsuit, or the swimvest, it is mandatory, while you are in the water! Apparently it is so they can see you better in the water, and everyone looks the same! Just an FYI to prepare you, incase you didn't know!

Thanks greenclan! DH feels much better knowing that :goodvibes

No problem, my hubby is the same way, very squmish about certain things, and he was fine! THe place it itself is so so immaculatly clean, i don't think anything could be dirty! Enjoy your day, we are going back this march, and we are not doing the dolphin swim, just going to enjoy the day! It really is a very relaxing way to spend a day!

We've been to Discovery Cove three times, the wetsuits and swim vests were all clean when we first got it. He can always wear swim vest only, but it would be a bit chilly this time of the year.
