About the DC/SW/Aquatica tickets

Hello, sorry for this stupid question, but the DC tickets deal are still not clear for me...

If we buy DC tickets we get 14 consecutive days at SW and Aquatica. But do we have to go on one park after another?

I mean, we're planning on going first to Sea World, then to Universal, then Aquatica, then IoA and then Discovery cove... Is that possible??

No you can go to any park any day. As long as it is in the 14 day window. So you can do exactly what you are saying, and the first day you use your ticket is counted as your 1st day.

You can also go back to Seaworld and Aquatica as much as you wish during the 14 day window.

I have the opposite question about Discovery Cove.

My wife and I are arriving in Orlando on the 16th of October and we will be going to Discovery Cove on the 18th which is our 5th anniversary of our wedding day. However, Our first park from the ultimate package will not be till the 21st of October which is a Monday and that will be Busch Gardens. Does the 14 consecutive days start the day we are at Discovery Cove on the 18th or when we go to Busch Gardens on the 21st?

On a side note, I am not sure why a lot of people think Discovery Cove is expensive, Because if you do the "Ultimate Package" for just $22 more. Discovery Cove is very cheap as a one day ticket to Sea World is $94. A one day ticket to Busch Gardens is $ 79 (Weekday ticket is $50), and a one day ticket to Aquatica is $45. If you add 94, 79, and 45 together. The total is $218. And the "Ultimate Package" comes out to $298 with tax, So Discovery Cove is really only $81 to have a once in a lifetime experience. It just boggles my mind why some people think Discovery Cove so expensive....

It's very expensive if you go to DC for one day. I am going next spring and the average I am expecting to pay is $179-$249pp for the day. Unless I can find a deal before I book it, I am looking to pay over $1000 for my family of 5. That is expensive in my book. We just went to BG and SW recently and have no plans to return anytime soon, so the "ultimate package" would not help us. Glad to hear it helped you though.

If it wasn't for the Ultimate Package. My wife and I would most likely not do Discovery Cove, But considering that we will take advantage of those tickets. Its a steal in our opinion. This will be our first trip to Discover Cove and ever since I was kid. I always wanted to swim with a dolphin even if its only for a few feet. If we do make it down to Orlando again in the future. I will most likely to the "Trainer for the day" program. Of course, That would be a few years away.

Just a head's up, If you are going to go to Sea World or Aquatica parks for a total of more than 2 days, it will benefit you to get the parking pass with the Discovery Cove package. You can only get it with them. Cheaper than paying to park three times (but DC parking is always free). Just ask when you book tickets.

I totally agree that it's a great deal it if you plan to take advantage of the other tickets. We would have done it regardless because it sounds like an amazing place, but the 14 day unlimited Sea World is great because we were already planning to spend a couple of days there.

I want to do the trainer for a day sometime too. We live in New Zealand so it'll be a while before we can get back to Orlando, but I'm already trying to work out how I can make it happen.
