Hi,

We are about to become platinum level. We are wondering what changes and what opportunities we have access to. Anything secret that you have to ask for? Any benefits that are your favorite? Thanks

You can book cruises before gold, silver and first timers. Handy if you are looking for a specific cabin/itinerary/lowest price possible.
You can book onboard activities before gold, silver and first timers. Handy if you are looking for a specific activity.
You can board after concierge. Not a huge perk since they call boarding number 2 almost seconds after they call you.
You get a free meal in Palo.

There are no secret perks. The castaway club level perks are all public knowledge.

Sorry to hijack but can I confirm you don't get any of these benefits til you are on your 11th Cruise right? Taking my 10th this September

Yes, you won't be platinum until you complete your 10th cruise.

Aby

We are platinum and always get boarding #1.
Your choice of either a bottle of prosecco, fruit tray or small box of chocolates, per cruise.

And you also get a free meal at Palo. One of the best perks

I agree Palo is the best perk...especially now that my kids are adults and can join us. The current cost for 4 guests, is a big savings! Last year we did B2Bs so we did brunch on 1 cruise and dinner on the other for 2 free meals! It was a great deal! ;)

and remember with the benefit of booking activities and shore excursions earlier, you get to pay in full earlier as well. 💲

Oh yea, Disney cares less about you since new cruisers usually spend a lot more money, and well, that's where the money is.

I am hoping they still do the black Platinum lanyards.
On our Magic cruise in June, my family received black Platinum lanyards.

Of course, Platinum members are not required to pay in full earlier than other cruisers -- they may choose to, in order to take advantage of the ability to book activities earlier than other cruisers. If you don't want to book early, then you don't need to pay early.

We will be platinum after our cruise next June. Should have planned a B2B to see how the new benefits kick in before, during and after. Love the water mouse!!

We will be Platinum when we get off our last of the B2B in January. Did this to be platinum for the big family cruise in Sept 2020. Can't wait to get the black lanyard et al.
