Sometimes I will search for "breakfast" and a time like 11:50 shows up which is in the "lunch" window.... This is while searching for character breakfast. I always pass over these because I am looking for breakfast food. Just making sure I am not missing anything here like it isn't really breakfast or brunch?

I've not had this happen, but in generally, it seems like the system does better when you give it a specific time (e.g., 9:00 am). I agree that it sounds like a glitch if you're asking for a breakfast ADR, but getting a 11:50 am ADR time (that should be lunch at most places).

As far as I know, for the character meals, there is no "brunch." It's either breakfast foods or lunch foods, depending on when you go. I suppose there is a cross over period (when breakfast is transitioning to lunch for places that are open for both meals), when guests might have access to both breakfast and lunch foods, but there isn't an official "brunch" category at most places (I can only think of Raglan Road and HoB as having a specific Sunday brunch menu).
