We are staying at BWV on our DVC points. We have an AP. Would we be able to reserve a room with the AP rate for someone else staying at the BW during the same dates we are there? Thank you!

yes. I was told by someone at Central Reservations earlier this month that a Passholder can reserve up to 3 rooms at the Passholder rate:thumbsup2 .

Can I reserve a room at an AP rate (if available) for someone else even if we are not reserving a room at an AP rate for ourselves, but using DVC points to stay there?

Does anyone know the answer to this for sure? Can we reserve a room at an AP rate for someone else if we are staying at the same resort on DVC points? Thank you!

right - i didn't read the op's post correctly. I was assuming you were booking a room for yourself and then a second room for friends. I've done this and it is very straightforward...

if you are staying on DVC points and want to book a room at the AP rate for your friends, you will have to have it in your name and, i guess pay the deposit yourself and u will have to be there at check-in, with your photo ID and your AP...

again, i would recommend calling~
