From reading this board and my outside sources that lead me here, it seems like the standard rate for points is $10/pt. There seems like there are plenty of points out there. So unless it was for the owner's home resort >7 months out, why should a renter consider paying more? This is a sincere question.
On the same vein, if the price is <$10/pt is that usually because points are about to expire or owner has larger number of points that he/she wants to get rid of quickly?

" goes a long way to keep everyone polite and on good terms and only take a few seconds. When I say "you" I mean everyone not just this OP. And yes you can tell when someone has read your message that you sent them (Date and Time). I just think it's rude not to respond when someone has taken their time to respond to your request for help. After all you're not dealing with a car dealership salesman. You're dealing with regular folks just like you
