? about park ticket and free dining

This has probably already been asked but I couldn't find it. We're doing the free dining in Sept. We had to get a one day ticket to get the free dining, but we have AP's. Does anyone know if the one day ticket will expire at the end of our trip if we don't add the no-expire option will it still be good in Dec. so I can apply the cost to my AP renewal?

The ticket does not expire until you it...and yes you can use th ticket to go towards your renewal of your AP
