? About My Points and Ebay

I am new to the whole my points thing. I saw that you can earn points by shopping on ebay. My question is, in order to earn points do you have to bid and pay through my points or can you just pay. I bid on and won an item a couple days ago. I didn't go through my points because I always seem to forget about them. I logged onto my points and then went into ebay and paid for the item via paypal. Will I get the points for this?

I tried this out once and it worked for me. I think when I went to pay for it I signed in through mypoints to ebay and then paypal and I got the credit for it. I hadn't originally bidded on it through my points.

OK thanks, that's what I did. It's been 3 days and it's not in my pending points so I wasn't sure I did it right.

They (we at quickrewards.net too) pay only when someone wins and pays for the acution. Thats how the ebay quickrewards 2% cash back (and whatever points in mypoints) works.

Our members get credited for them within a day or two. Mypoints takes longer because I assume they don't upload them as often. If after 3 days they didn't upload it yet it might not mean that you did it wrong.

It usually takes over a month for the ebay points to show up in my mypoints account.

I had never received points from MyPoints unless I placed the original bid through their site.
