I tried to do a search but the search is disabled. I have read on this board several times about a large McDonalds near Universal that has a bigger menu. My daughter wants to go there this trip but I can't remember its location. Does anyone have the address or can tell me how to get there from the RPR? We'll be there in a few days for our first trip to Universal.

I know we are going to try it out!! Also, someone on another post wrote about a mcD's right next to RPR, saying they ate the breakfast buffet...... do you have any info on that one or is the one you listed the same place??? Thanks

THANK YOU JESSICA.......... I just put a post on here about this rest. You came through again!!!!!! You are a doll.:D

There is a Mcdonald's on Kirkman that is close to the Universal Resort but the ones on Sand Lake are very unique.

I've never been to the Play Place one but the one further down Sand Lake across from Chick Fil A is MY favorite. It is a "gourmet" McDonalds, which offers a unique OTHER menu besides the usual McD fare. The place is incredible, it has two levels and games upstairs. The decor is more like the Portofino Bay than a McDonalds! They have belgian waffles and omelets on the weekends, definitely worth the trip!

Wow! I wish that some of our McD's had menus like this. I'll have to keep this in mind for us too.

All this and also delicious Panini sandwiches; my vegetarian was delicious. The sandwiches were wild: Can you imagine getting a blackened grouper sandwich at a McDonald's? I told my kids we could eat at this one just about any time they wanted!

By the way, when we drove by in June, the BIG McDonald's with the huge play place was also advertising Panini sandwiches on their outside marquee.

Our first trip to US begining of Nov....is this special McD within walking distance of the on-site hotels?

It would be a very long walk. It's at least 10 minutes driving, depending on traffic.
