? about ice cream social

I want to take my family to the ice cream social but we have one problem. My husband is lactose intolerant, would he have to pay for it ? I haven't told the kids about this since I want to find out if we would have to pay for DH, if we do I think we would just skip it.

I wonder if you could call ahead and explain the situation ... they might be able to arrange for your husband to have a different kind of dessert.

Agreed--call them in advance, my guess is that they will be able to provide sorbet or something like that instead.

Call dining services and ask. They may give you the number to call the garden grill a day or two ahead of time to request a "special diet." The worse they can do is not be able to accomadate--never hurts to ask.
