? about Getaway Today

Does Getaway Today charge in full when you book a package? I was just looking over my Visa statement and it looks like a paid in full even though we don't travel until October. I am used to Costco/AAA where you pay a $200 deposit and then the rest close to your travel date.

Just curious.....doesn't really affect me one way or another...

Yes, they do charge at time of booking...at least they did when I booked in 2000.

When i was calling them to ask some questions last month, the "on hold" message talked about how now you can book your trip with only a deposit and pay the remainder 3 weeks before your trip.

I booked on-line and knowing me, may have "chosen" to pay 100% upfront by accident. You know....in the excitement and all???

Yes they do charge 100% of the trip price, you may change any part of your trip or cancel for a $25 fee.

We booked about 2 months ago and we are going in August
