? about flying carry on only

My daughter will be flying home on Wednesday and can do carry on only (something I would never be able to do, lol). If she checks in and has her boarding pass in the American App or printed can she skip the counter check in and go straight to TSA as she should get pre check because she has Global entry? This would be a huge time saver if possible. TIA

She can go directly to security if she already has her boarding pass.

She can check-in online for her flight (up to 24 hours prior) using either the American app on her phone or online.. If she uses the app, her boarding pass will generate in her phone which is easiest and the most convenient.. If she has no bag to check she can go directly to security, no need to go to counter..

TSA precheck would be something she needs to apply for, go to a center that does finger printing and background checks for it, and then wait for it to be approved. I think it was a several week process when I applied for it the first time, so that's not necessarily an option at the last minute.

It is part of Global Entry so she has it (the normal caveats about the possibility of glitches meaning it doesn’t appear on the boarding pass notwithstanding).

OP said the person has Global Entry .... that includes PRE ..... assuming the airline has her number she most likely will get PRE indicated on the boarding pass. NOTE however that OCCASIONALLY even if you HAVE PRE, you won't get it for a particular flight. A small random number still get sent to screening .....
