? about Fantasmic Dinner Package

What are the advantages of the package? I know you get reserved seating, but is it good seating and do you still have to arrive early?
When we go to DHS we usually eat at 50's PTC which is not on the list of restaurants that offer the package. We would probably chose Mama Melrose's if we can get the ressie. Is the food as good as 50's? And is the package a good deal, speaking only about what you pay for the food?
Thanks for the information- last month when we went to Fantasmic! we got there 1 hour and 45 minutes before showtime and I'm really hoping to avoid that but also want to get a good meal.

We did the package at Brown Derby last week. Loved the restaurant. Great food, great service. Walked in 30 minutes before the show and got great seats. The reserved section is on the right side of the stage...but still very good. You could wait 2 hours in line and sit in the middle section, but you basically get the same view with less wait time. We'd do it again.
