Okay we are staying at SOG for our first part of the trip and we want to eat breakfast at Trails End. I have eaten dinner there but I hear the most rave reviews on the breakfast. SO, I was thiking of making our way there the morning we check out of SOG headed to CS. I was thinking that it would be easier and closer to drive vs. getting the boat. SO has anyone ever driven there? Is it hard to get to the Trails End? I know we have to park and then take an internal bus. I am just curious?

Also, is it basically the same type of food as far as taste goes that you get at any WDW breakfast buffet just cheaper? So maybe we should skip this if it is complicated to get to. Before we took boat from MK because we had been at MK park.

TIA

It's only complicated if you don't like parking your car and taking an internal bus. Park at the reception outpost and grab a bus. All three internal routs end up at the marina, so the color of the bus really dosn't matter.

You will find the food at all establishments (other than the "high end") is about the same.

The food was pretty much the same as the other breakfast buffets, mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. I think there were some exceptions, I believe they had hash, grits, and SOS... can't remember if that was somewhere else though. Maybe someone else can confirm that, we went to a couple of breakfast buffets that trip. If I were you I'd just take the boat, not sure why I feel that way though, LOL. Just what I'd do. :)

Okay, I just went onto allearsnet.com and found this, I was right about the hash, SOS, and grits:

It is not hard to get to at all. We go every trip. There is a seperate entrance to park so you don't have to go through the Guard gate. You can park and take the internal bus. There are 3 different routes and I think yellow is the shortest route. Look at the map where the buses pick up. The buses come all the time so there is usually only a short wait. No matter what color route you take the trip is never that long. We have parked at Contemporary and taken the boat which is a nice boat ride but takes a little longer. Either way you get there you should definettly try it. We go to disney 4-5 times a year and always go there for breakfast on the last day of our trip. We have had dinner there as well but breakfast is our favorite.
