? about chef mickey for lunch

I understand that this is a character meal during free dining, just wondering if this was done in past years during free dining? If so, has anyone had lunch there and what is the menu like? I have to decide between lunch or breakfast for a birthday celebration. I haven't had breakfast there either so hoping for some input. TIA

yes in the past they did do lunch and when i went they did a bbq menu it was good but they might have changed it have been for lunch in over a year. i would do breakfast for a bday celebration because there nothing like starting your day there and every 15 min they do there party where every one celbrates bday or other special events just get a bday pin before you go and mybe something specail will happen.

i would do whichever meal you can get an ADR for! last year CMs was open for FD during the late august/early sept time period, not during the oct/nov/dec FD... so, when you are going will be a factor...

We've done breakfast at Chef Mickey's a couple of times. The charachters are Mick, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy. They came to our table once during our June breakfast for pictures. It was my DD12's birthday and she received a cupcake and a Birthday pin. The food is standard breakfast fare but I like it. We've had dinner there but I prefer breakfast. Don't know about lunch.

They serve lunch when they have the free dining offer to handle the extra guest they have due to the free dining offer. They might not do it for the whole offer just when it really busy.

And they do it during some holidays like T-day, Christmas and New years. I have a ressie for 12:25pm for 12-25-2010 this year for lunch
