? about automatic payment

Disney "takes" my loan payment and taxes/dues from my checking account monthly. Is there a way to have them "take" more out to hurry up my payoff date. Would I call Mermber Services to arrange this? thanks for any reponse.

so it's still pretty fresh in my mind.what happens is ONCE your payments START it's fixed.you can add lump sums but this just shortens your term(it comes off the backend).your payments stay but you're done sooner

I'm not sure if you can up the automatic payment, maybe you can. I do know that they accept additional payments. I remember them saying to add a note "apply to capital only". I would give MS Accounting a call. I'm sure they'll be able to give you the answer. (And maybe you can let the rest of us know, too.)

All you need to do is call member accounting, tell them what you want to do, and they'll give you a fax number (they gave me 407-566-3284)to fax them a note with your account number, daytime phone number and saying that you want additional $'s taken out for principle prepayment every month. I'm doing it right now and will cut 4 years off my loan.

I've also done a one time prepayment, had them put it on my United Airlines Visa which also got me some miles so I can get a free ticket to go back home.

I'll member accounting in the morning...sounds like it might be easier to make periodic lump payments...but I'll let you know...thanks again everyone...

If you have a Airline Miles credit card, have Accounting charge whatever amount you want to pay off and get the Air Miles to Boot!
