? about add-on

If I decide to do a small 25 point add-on, does it work the same way as our original purchase? You put a % down, do the paperwork, settlment, etc.

I know it's an additional contract, but if we finance it, as we did our original purchase, will I have 2 separate monthly payments, or do they combine the payments so you only have 1?

P.S. I never paid much attention to other add-on questions, because I seriously (HaHa) thought we had enough points. Isn't that hysterical?

You can't finance that small a contract (or at least not through Disney).

On the other hand, you can get a Bank One Disney Visa and get 6 mos no interest and pay little by little off over the next 6 mos. (That was my plan when we added on 30 pts recently, except my doofus dh didn't KNOW that was the plan, and when he saw the Disney Visa bill, he paid it off out of our money market account! SO much for plans... oh well, I got the pts, that's what matters!!)

Someone can help me out here, I'm sure, but I think financing doesn't start until 50 points... can't remember. Maybe you can use that fact to get even more pts! (Gee honey, in order to finance, we HAVE to buy more pts!)

Correct, it's 50 pts needed in order to finance thru Disney. You will have separate payments for each contract, and add-on that you have, but they usually take the dues out in a lump each month for all the points that you have. I have 3 contracts and 2 add-ons, and the dues are automatic withdrawl, there is only one withdrawl for dues per month, even though I am still paying for 1 add-on and 1 contract. And, yes, the paperwork is the same, even for those small add-ons that are financed. It's really slick, though, when you do a cash add-on, it's easier than getting another credit card

Thanks for the info! Maybe I will have to look toward a 50 pt. add-on. I'm not sure what to do. But the bug has definitely bit me. I think the only itch-relief is an add-on.
