About a day without Latinos....

Hmmm, you have quite a different experience with this than I do. Of those illegals I know, none are disparaging towards legal Americans..........hispanic or not. I don't really get that. Why would they come here if they hate the people here? They shouldn't talk like that.........it just makes everything worse................

I know, I don't like when people make racial comments to Americans just because they don't agree with the illegal issue, same thing with the racial commets about hispanics in general.

I wonder the same thing, if they hate the president, the americans, and the law, why are they here. Like i said SOME people, not everybody.

I'm also a Latina. Having said that...

That first poster in Spanish is a good message for them to go to school, since there are a lot of misspelled words there ...

If they're not going to go to school or work on May 1st, they also shouldn't use the hospitals, public transportation, and all the other social services offered.

I understand and empathize with people trying to make a better life for themselves and their families. However, I have a problem with the false pride for a country that they had to flee from (mostly Mexico) over the country that they have gone to (USA). I have a problem with the ones who make little or no effort to learn English and become part of the American culture, and choose to isolate themselves and their children. I have a problem with the ones who send a good amount of $ to their families in other countries while taking advantage of our social programs here for little cost. I know people who do this, and the more this issue is pushed, the less tolerance I have for people who want to take advantage of the American dream, but who do not want to be a part of the American Dream.

1ro de Mayo sera el dia que el govierno pierda montos de dinero, para que se pongan a pensar quien realmente corre este pais.

Gobierno.
Montos ? =Montones
Corre este Pais ? = the translation is just terrible.

Also this part on the flyer... ( isn't the spelling, the demanding of it)

"Lo unico que estamos dispuesto a aceptar es Amnistia"
