Able to request loop reservation?

I read this forum frequently, and see that some folks are apparently able to request a certain loop ahead of their arrival. We're arriving on Saturday, the 4th. How can I request a specific site/loop?

They are terrific at honoring preferences, even at check-in. Try to be flexible with your request - asking for a loop, asking for an outside site on the loop, requesting a site near the restrooms, etc., rather than requesting a specific site #. The CM's are great at working magic.
We have liked every site we've been assigned!

I'd say REALLY GOOD at making magic. We've never had a bad site and have , once or twice, been upgraded from our original request. I agree that being flexible is key.
