Find out about a special offer for webcast attendees!

Since I'm already booked for this summer, I hope the special offer is good for next year.

Cool! I'm already booked, but I think I'll attend the webcast just to see what it's all about.

Thanks!

Lindblad does webcasts pretty often, but each one is geared toward a particular trip. It's basically a slideshow of all the cool things you'll see and a guide telling you about it. And they offer a discount if you book within a certain timeframe. Maybe BD's will be something similar, but it can't be as indepth since is about ABD in general.

I received the same AbD email, but I'm already booked on two Tauck trips this year, so I don't think I can swing a 3rd trip... :rolleyes1

Thanks for the link Bobo. I like the times of the webcast, as I usually get home late and can't make many of them. I am doing ABD Ireland in May and and 10 day DCL Med Cruise in July (great discount on board when I went on a cruise in October so I booked it) so I don't think I can take another trip this year (don't have enough vacation time), but it will be interesting to see how they present ABD.

Tozzie and DisFan10, I'm with you guys. I've already taken the Galapagos trip this year and have SWS coming up in July so I shouldn't be thinking about another trip, but I'm going to attend just to see what they have to say. I have to admit when I saw "special offers", the little wheels in my brain started turning and I checked the website to see what trips ABD has around Christmas.

Bobo, Bobo, Bobo!

Thanks for the info, much appreciated (shows the great benefit of these disboards!) We'll "attend" the event--hoping some hint for 2012.

....as usual, we Canadians have been left out in the cold:confused3 Can't figure out why only U.S. residents may attend - we're going on our 3rd ABD this summer and are always looking to plan new vacations...stupid to exclude us!

I doubt they intentionally exlude you it probrably has more to do with rules and laws that ABD is bound by. Only US residents may book directly with ABD, Canadians must use a travel agent.

Can't wait to see what it's all about :surfweb:. Holding off on our booking until then.

I registered for the early webcast this evening, but I just checked my confirmation and it's for the later one. If anybody attends the early one, please let me know if it's worth attending.

It was nice. You get $100 off if you book within 14 days of the webscast for attending. (cannot remember if was per room or per person)

There was a mention of discounted North American trips, but I can't find anything about that on the website. There was no instruction during the program as to how to find them, and no indication given as to the exact itineraries they are discounting. I suppose you need to call to find out. I'm wondering if you can combine this discount (and the extra $100) with the American Express discount offered by Dreams Unlimited. If anyone knows the answer to that question, please post a reply. Thanks!

Thanks. I am glad to know that this offer wasn't better than the Visa gift card. Selfish, I guess, but it's pretty irritating when you book early and then they offer something better. Did they happen to reveal anything about 2012?

ETA: Actually it sounds like they about to offer $300 off on US trips that has no connection to this webcast. Couple that with the $100 for attending the webcast and that's better than the gift card. Oh well.

The Dreams Unlimited American Express cards are in addition to anything that ABD offers.
