A bunch of us got to see World of Color tonight. We got standard Blue area Fastpass tickets for the 9:00 show. You got a choice to stand down in Paradise Park on the left side of the second row (not the splash zone) or stand on the bridge.
I saw the show last Saturday from the Park and the view was not very good. You have to look kind of sideways through the crowd to see "show center". So even though I was in the first dozen folks who stood in the blue zone, I really didn't enjoy the show because of the restricted view.
Tonight we all stood on the bridge and I must say that the view is 1000% better. You can see the full range of the fountains clearly and the projections are not blocked by everyone in front of you. The view from the bridge is definitely better overall than the view from Paradise Park. You do need to be on the rail or behind a shorter person, but that is easier to do on the bridge. You loose a bit of the projection details, but the view of the fountains and lighting effects are much better.
I was hesitant about this show from my first viewing, but now I can say that it is truely impressive and wonderful!
