ABD 2010: Disers Go West - Let the Fun Begin

Can't wait for the Muppets!! When do y'all do the tour? I'm watching Muppets right now. That would be my dream job. That is the main reason I would do the ABD tour.

Cathy and I spent most of today at the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco.

All I can say is the Museum is unbelievable, and we thank the Disney family for sharing the incredible amount of personal and Disney Company material, interviews and photos.

The displays are fantastic and the interactive exhibits are very well conceived.

The guides are super friendly and well versed on the information concerning Walt's life.

Well worth a visit, we plan on returning again some day to see what we missed.


This was a great warm up to tour ABD adventure! See you all tomorrow!!

On my way to the Renn to pick up folks for Yamashiro dinner. Yes - there are no car seats and the is sun to end the date. That means the views will be fabulous!

Just had dinner with Dodie, Phillip, Kathy B., Jason, Tracey and CHris.

We went to the burger bar in the Roosevelt Hotel (just down the block).

Killer burgers and great fries. The sweet potato fries were terrific.

Busy day today....time to get some rest before torrow.

Sorry to have been absent for the past few days...

Yesterday( Sunday ) Dino and I drove down to the San Diego Zoo - we spent 6 1/2 hours there and had so much fun. The new baby panda is one of the most precious animals I have ever seen

Today ( monday ) we drove up the Pacific Coast Highway - we got as far as Oxnard and then turned back to get back to Huntington.

Dino's doing really well driving around - he just loves doing 80+ mph on a 6 lane interstate

We leave the beach Tuesday am & should arrive at the Hollywood hotel around 1pm
Can't wait to meet everyone there

Woohoo!! I slept until 6am today!!

We had a great day yesterday! We did the deluxe Warner Brothers tour, it was very well done and well worth teh extra money. The guide was great and we got to walk around the sets of the mentalist and two and a half men. Lunch was incredible, we were expecting something in the commissary and instead they took us to the fine dining location and treated us to a 3 course meal.

Then as Kevin mentioned we had dinner at the Roosevelt...I had a hot dog, but it was the best $9 hot dog ever! The onion rings were incredible.
