ABC Elements: Complete

Susan is the one responsible for finding a safe place to keep everything. ;)

I had a personal goal of finishing my elements before the kids' summer vacation started. I am happy to report that I met my goal just now, with about an hour to spare:). YAY ME!!

I'm waiting for adhesive to dry before I pack them up, but they're DONE:):). I plan to ship them to Susan early next week!

This was my 4th swap, but the biggest one I've done so far. I loved it...though next time I might reconsider doing 52 slide mounts!

OK - so here is my situation: My mom has appendicitis (sp?) and I am writing this from the waiting room of the hospital. I have 75% of my stuff cut and can take pictures of the cut out items and my sketches to post on Monday. BUT since I am 2 hours away from all of my stuff and will be spending the weekend with my mom (as my dad is out of town for work), I will likely not be able to post my prototypes until Wednesday. I hope everyone is ok with this. Something to keep in mind too is that 75% is of my total swap items. Not just the prototypes (since I work assembly line and all of my non-straight cuts are done on the wishblade).

I figured out what I want to switch N to

N - Night Lights (for either coast's electrical parade)

and previously I mentioned I was switching T to

T - Topiaries

Okay -- hope all goes well for your mother.

Here is my prototype for X marks the spot. The Mickey hand is hidden journaling. It will be one of three different things,,,,,,Mickey pants, shoe or hand. The X is made from black rhinestones but they aren't very shiney. The large trip to remember thing is a map holder.

Finally got around to taking pictures of my 2nd group. Here is my X:

This swap is now all boxed up and ready to mail. If I don't get to the post office tomorrow, it'll go out early next week.

I LOVE that! My stuff is packed up and will be going to 123SA today with the Prima swap.

Wonderful work NEE and Susie!

I have the slideshows and the progress updated. Let me know if I have missed any please.

oh susie, love this too! you do such nice work!! love the hidden journaling. way cool.

I finally came up with a plan for E - Ever After. I saw that someone was doing Nighttime parade and since many of us are in both groups I thought this would be a better choice. Lucky for me, I saw that my cricut (Happily Ever After), has just that as a design. I'm excited that I can start there. It is supposed to rain on Sunday (Yes I am hoping for it) so I will try to get this started then.

I am going to post my prototypes tonight. They are rough copies of what I will be making. I budgeted the paper into the July budget and am leaving for the beach in the morning. I think the only thing I am missing is patterened paper. Ok gotta go get reay for the party and do these. Be back later tonight.:goodvibes

I did these reallly quick. The paper will all match and it will look better than this too. Here is C: The C is embossed, the topper will be double matted I just didn't have gray paper.
