Wow some of you are finished and shipping!

Everything posted so far is just gorgeous. I have been having some scrapper's block.

Last week was so busy. I volunteered to teach Vacation Bible School. I had 18 Kindergartners in my class. My sister in law helped and we had a teen helper but it was a lot of work.

Thursday night I had to take my cat in to the vet. He has been very ill, and we had to put him to sleep. He was 17 years old and had a long life, but I am missing him.

Anyways, here are my prototypes. I think they need some more embellishing. Any suggestions would be most welcome. I am not certain how I am going to do the journal box for the You've Got a Friend in me group. Should it have white paper or the cloud paper?

For the journal box in Y, do you have any vellum? You could put that over the cloud paper, so you can still see the clouds and not be writing on the clouds. Otherwise, just use the cloud paper. I've got dark ink.

I too am just squeaking in with my last prototype. I have been having a crazy two weeks. My husband's Nana passed away, my husband had to be a best man in a wedding and I made the wedding cake, my husband turned 36, my niece turned 1 and now my daughter is sick. This has all been in the last two weeks. Since I am home with a sick child though I was able to get my Best Friends prototype done. I hope it works getting posted on here since I had such a hard time last time.

I wanted to say that I LOVE your pieces. Where are the diecuts from? They are too cute.

I also love the quote about Best Friends. It's a year ago today that my best friend was killed, and we (her family and friends) say that we are so lucky to have known her, and to have had her as a part of our life. I think about her constantly, and wonder if I will ever have a best friend like her again (doubtful). I will share your quote with her family and friends because I think it is especially true about Katie.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your best friend. I am sure that is an awful thing to have gone through and I am sure to continue going through as I know the pain lessens, but never goes away. That is nice of you to think the quote is good enough to share with her family and friends.

The diecuts were made with Provo Craft Wild Ride (Disney) and I cut them out on my Cuttlebug.
