1) I did the CM ride-preview today.
2) We rented a minivan so I could be transported to AK.
. . . still in a wheelchair
. . . still cannot drive
. . . still cannot walk
3) The "FLIGHT" was pretty cool.
. . . Disney does great things with lights and scenery
. . . THINK: Soarin', but eight motorcycle riders across
. . . you sat and were strapped into basically a motorcycle seat
. . . if you looked right-or-left, you could se the other guests, but your attention was pilled t the lighting
. . . if you are handicapped, you MUST transfer
. . . during the Summer it is nice, because almost all of the queue lines ate inside the air conditioning
4) We also did the boat rode.
. . . lots of good artificial lighting effects
. . . however, where there was to be REAL grasses, they looked fake-fake-fake
. . . c'mon, Rohde, get your stuff straight!
5) BOTH HAD FANTASTIC SPECIAL EFECTS AND LIGHTING.
. . . Disney always does well with lighting effects
. . . however, with the literal demise of Imagineering staff, the mechanical side is wanting (see below)
6) OVERALL, a really great attraction . . . when it runs.
7) Definitely worth a Fast Pass, but not worth waiting 2-3 hours in line.

NOTE: During this "preview", there was no Stand-By-Line. The ride had "technical difficulties" and was not fully functional. Yes, I lost my bet with my fellow Concierge, as I thought they would have debugged such an expensive attraction. I only can hope the bugs are worked out by Opening Day, or they will have a disaster like Rivers of Light, where mechanical issues are not resolved.

Thanks for the review TRS. Looking forward to being able to do it on our next trip.

I think the DW did get a FP for it. I felt the same way about the Frozen ride. It was worth a FP but I wouldn't stand in line for it.

Glad you were able to physically partake after what you've been through. Keep up the good job at recovery.

Thanks for the review.

Here's to hoping it gets all the bugs out.

As others have said THANK YOU for preview my only question did you go to SANAA for lunch again before you posted it

1) When doing Mai-Tai's whether before or after an event does not matter.
2) But, in this case I THINK that Sanaa was both.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you were able to make it. We'll be there next Saturday for the AP preview.

I am so happy you were able to go have some fun! I think we should vote you the most interesting man at The World.:worship:

1) The ride and the boat trip are visually appealing. VERY APPEALING
2) Of course, Disney is known for their visual effects, and these do not disappoint.
3) As long as the mechanics work (*), and rides don't break down, you will enjoy yourself.
4) Make sure to write YOUR review.

* It took six extra months to get "Frozen" working. It took eight extra months to get "Rivers of Light" working, and they cut seven minutes from the show because they could not get it to work. This happens when Disney decides to decimate the Imagineering Department (by over 90%). Let's hope the reliability of Avatar rides have better results.
