How did she get in without an ADR???I just want to know if she was charged for parking.
We have the safe haven law here, but it doesn’t include Disney hotels so far as I am aware. Glad the baby is OK.
Oh...I thought it was a guest who was handed the baby. I guess a CM on a break is an option.
Though I don't think I'd ever had a baby to someone reeking of smoke...though someone abandoning a baby probably isn't in their right mind anyway.
More likely it was a guest on a smoke break, or j7st having gotten back to the resort.Oh...I thought it was a guest who was handed the baby. I guess a CM on a break is an option.

Why?Not commenting on the other as I'd probably get in trouble.![]()
This reminds me when I was in Walmart as part of the college program you would see kids in the Walmart at all hours of the day and night. Why is it odd to be up at 2:00am? It’s vacation. The boardwalk closes at 2:00 am. So so many bars in the area (non Disney). Not everyone who stays at Disney goes to bed early or has kids.
Not a surprise.According to this, the woman who claimed she was handed the baby is in fact the baby's mother: https://www.wftv.com/news/local/dis...t-animal-kingdom-lodge-deputies-say/866384642
Not a surprise.
Still, had her original story been true, it's not odd to have guests outside of the resort at 2:00 AM. If you'd ever been around at that hour you'd see it's far from empty
It's a little surprising since Disney has been cutting back on EMH and operating hours and closings after 10 pm are now rather unusual. Not a surprise.

Being a smoker doesn’t make you a bad person?Oh...I thought it was a guest who was handed the baby. I guess a CM on a break is an option.

Something tells me the person that was planning to abandon the baby wasn't giving any thought to the safety of their lungs. No, but the stench is not something I'd subject a baby to. Especially a newborn. Brand new lungs really don't need to be exposed to secondhand smoke.
I've actually asked - politely, but firmly - for a different nurse if the one who comes into my exam room at the doctor's smells of smoke.
Updated news said that the "guest" was actually the mother of the baby.It seems to me that the guest may be involved in some way other than just randomly being handed a baby?
