Does anyone know where I can find a pair of cleats in wide width? My son starts baseball this week (actually his first practice is today) and I cannot find cleats that fit him. He wears size 2.5 wide width.

Any idea?

Nevermind. I just found some online. They're New Balance and he just got a new pair of New Balance running shoes, so I guess they'll fit the same. I don't know what else to do.

$45 bucks, though, for shoes he'll wear a month. Why did he get his dad's wide feet?! :headache:

Next time check KMart, if you have one. They often have wide's and for cleats he will wear for a month they are just fine.

Play it Again Sports -- sometimes you can hardly tell the cleats have been worn at all.

i feel your pain. one of the girls has her daddy's extra wide feet. It's a struggle every year to buy her any kind of shoes except tennies. New Balance is great there.

As your son gets older - look for the Dunham brand. They are a division of New Balance and make casual and dress shoes for men in 2E 4E and 6E widths. The sizing is the same as new balance and runs pretty true from style to style. I order these for DH through shoebuy online.

Thank you all.

I haven't ordered the New Balance yet. I'm going to check K-Mart and Play It Again Sports tomorrow.

I second Adidas. My son wears a 1.5 wide and the Adidas we found at Play it Again Sports fit him well. They also carry the same ones at Dicks.
