AAAAAHHHHH!! No more Figaro Fries!!

This is not a joke! Yesterday April 26th was the last day they served them!!

Ryan from Chicago overheard me telling the girl taking my order how bummed I was that I waited 5 months to try them, and was there on the 23rd, but they were already closed, and now they didn't have them anymore!! So he told me to wait a few minutes and he came back with an order and told me that I was officially the last person to get Figaro Fries!

They still have them on the menu, but they are just cheese fries with bacon bits. The ones that Ryan had made were absolutely awsome, but I can't believe that they were the last ones they served! Thanks Ryan for making the extra special effort so that I could try themat long last!

But Figaro Fries are now just cheese and bacon topped fries. No Lettuce, tomato or ranch anymore. You know, same name, but they changed the recipe. Great idea huh? Kinda like "New Coke"

I'm bummed, but at least I got to try them once! Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing though.....glad I got to find out for myself how yummy they are, sad that I won't get to have them again!

From what I've heard, that's the reason they were changed. More guests were ordering them without the lettuce and tomato then with.

Yes, Cosmic Ray's does have that fixins bar. My DSis and I are leaving tomorrow for DW and when I told her about the Figaro Fries Fiasco, she said, "What can we do?" I told her Cosmic Ray's has a fixins bar and we could always take our cheese fries there. I wonder if Pecos Bills has cheese fries. They have a fixins bar, too.

This is so upsetting!!!! I noticed when I printed out the Disney Dining Plan snack list that Figaro Fries were listed there - anyone think that may be why they "slimmed them down"???? DH and I are terribly disappointed!

I think you can get cheese fries at most of the CS locations. But the Figaro Fries were the only ones with bacon and lettuce, tomatoes and ranch dressing. I could almost convince myself it was "healthy." I'm bummed.

You sound like my husband! He ate his Figaro Fries and would proclaim he was having veggies and such a healthy guy. I hate to tell him this sad news. At least they still have the bacon on them, that might soften the blow a little bit.

I checked Allearsnet. Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's both have chili cheese fries listed. I'm thinking of ordering that and asking them to substitute ranch dressing for the chili and then head for the fixins bar.

I would think you could get a side of ranch, couldn't you? My mom likes to dip her cheese fries in ranch, like they serve at the Outback.

Well you can still grab a packet of ranch dressing. I think the ranch is really what makes the Figaro fries so addictive!

AGHHHHHHHHHH! How could this happen? Figaro Fries were my favorite snack in Disney (along with Dole Whips). I have been so looking forward to them in September. So sad. On the brighter side hopefully I will brach out & try some new YUMMY snacks.

Not cool, I finally tried these last October, and our whole crew fell in love with them. DH and I couldn't wait to have them again in October. This stinks.
