Is it cheaper to book a package through AAA then going directly to Disney? If free dining comes out for my dates can you use that with a AAA package?

If Disney is not offering any discounts during your dates, and AAA is, then it would be cheaper to use the AAA discount to book. If free dining came out, you would have to choose between the room discount and the free dining. You cannot stack discounts.

Yes, you still can book a package through AAA if you have a free dining pin or any promotion that Disney is using. Like OP said though, you can't stack the discounts. The AAA rep will usually quote you the best price if you ask. The AAA perks that you get for booking throgh them include a coupon for Planet Hollywood, a voucher for game room at your resort, some type of special story time for AAA members, special diamond parking and some other perks. I have booked through AAA for years. February, I think, or maybe January, was their Disney month and if you booked during that month you received some type of special Lion King print. Hope that helps.
